  • The Active Assisted Living Program (AAL) and the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP on AHA) will be holding an European meeting to discuss about the influence of technology in the ageing population, and how to tackle it to take advantage and improve their lives. It will bring together European thinkers, regulators, policymakers, regional actors and associations in the field of active and healthy ageing.

    Undoubtedly, the healthy and active ageing is one of the main purposes for which Europe is affording, as ageing is the characteristic of its present population, due to the longer life expectancy rates and the better health levels. This conference is part of the WE4AHA project created by the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 framework.

    The trends that are shaping the present and future society will be analysed to know how technologies are adapting to it and in which direction they should keep evolving in the future. Accessibility has an important role on achieving the use of technology by all the population.
